Characteristics of Work
This is security work under the direct supervision of the Center Administrator or other facility manager. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining a secure facility free of unwanted intrusions that may endanger the lives of the staff, children, volunteers, and other authorized personnel.
The incumbent will patrol and inspect property to protect against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal activity.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent with two (2) years of experience as a Security Guard.
1. Ability to express ideas orally and in writing.
2. Ability to understand and become knowledgeable of security procedures.
3. Ability to restrain an individual without causing bodily harm.
4. Ability to work well with other staff.
