Job Title : Soccer Coach
Location : Northside Charter High School (NCHS)
Duration : Sept. 2024 - Nov. 2024
Overview : Northside Charter High School (NCHS) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Soccer Coach for the upcoming 2024-2025 soccer season.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for soccer, a commitment to developing student-athletes, and the ability to foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
Coaching Expectations :
Plan and conduct regular practices for individual teams.
Attend all scheduled games, practices and events unless otherwise excused.
Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and skill development among student athletes.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all student athletes during practices and games.
Abide by the rules and regulations set forth by NCHS, the Athletic Department and League governing body.
Perform any other duties reasonably related to coaching the sport team as assigned by the Athletic Director / Student Services.
Proper use, maintenance and upkeep of equipment and uniforms throughout the season.
Mandatory Study Hall : Each team must complete at least two (2) hours of study hall per week. Coaches will decide hours that work best with schedule.
Community Service Hours : Each team will be required to attend at least three (3) community service events during the season, decided either by the coach or Athletic Director.
Student Athlete Attire : Each member of the team will be required to be in NCHS attire throughout the school day, as well as to any athletic or community service event(s).
Qualifications :
Previous coaching experience is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of soccer rules, techniques, and strategies.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive team environment.
CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
Compensation :
As compensation for the services performed by you at the school, you will be paid a stipend amount of $5000, that will be spread evenly throughout your checks from Sept. 24 - Nov. 24.
