As a Project Engineer with the PFAS Solutions team, you are responsible for managing the technical aspects of assigned projects, performing the engineering and design work required within the budget allocated to meet the requirements of customer specifications.

The role is based in our Salt Lake City Office and will enjoy our hybrid working model.

Expected domestic travel is 10-25%.

What is the role?

• Manage the mechanical technical & drafting aspects within a multi-disciplinary team for the development and commercialization of effective and safe products for the treatment of per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
• Manage and coordinate drafting projects with a remote team.
• Develop drafting standards and maintaining parts library.
• Maintaining and developing P & ID's
• Assist manufacturing of projects by developing fabrication drawings and bill of materials.
• Assist with establishing appropriate design methods, sizing, and costing programs in coordination with other engineer disciplines.
• Check calculations, models, layouts, detailed drawings, specifications, and instructions prepared by drafters / designers and other engineers.
• Ability to read and understand fabrication, erection, and standard engineering drawings.
• Document and update design procedures on a regular basis.
• Advises project engineers, project managers and / or other managers on project status.
• Conducts quality control and quality assurance tests and ensures designs are compliant with the clients' technical requirements and budget(s).
• Travels to the project site to conduct project-related tasks; provides timely responses to managers and clients on project tasks

Does this sound like you?

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil and Environmental, Industrial, Process Engineering from an accredited university.
• 1-3+ years of engineering-related experience.
• Intermediate to advanced experience with Inventor & AutoCAD.
• Preferred knowledge of piping, electrical and instrumentation.
• Ability to apply advanced mathematical equations to complex situations.
