Chipton-Ross is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist A for a contract opportunity in Coppell, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Assists with initial verification for identification and damage on incoming / outgoing receivers / shippers. Processes receiving / shipping documentation.

Packages and processes shipments. Assists with maintaining inventory of shipping / receiving supplies.

o Ability to gather, retain, and recall a variety of facts and data in written and / or verbal form for the achievement of work tasks and duties.

o Knowledge of operating procedures for packaging and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, walking stackers, carts, dollies, box tapers).

o General knowledge of transportation, shipping, receiving, and storage procedures to understand and identify potential requirements and impacts (e.

g., Electrostatic Discharge ESD , hazardous material, OSHA, EHS).

REQUIRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS :

o At least 6 months in a warehouse and can drive equipment or at least be able to learn.

o Must be able to lift 35 lbs regularly and have good math skills and able to learn a warehouse management system.

o If not fully qualified on all of the above, at least some experience and ability and willingness to learn.

EDUCATION :

Accredited education / experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma / GED).

FULL TIME / FIRST SHIFT

WORK HOURS : 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
