The Private Markets Client Reporting Vice President is a member of NB Private Markets and is responsible for assisting in the oversight, execution and accuracy of investment reports, performance returns and other client deliverables for private markets clients and internal consumption.

This position provides direct support to NB’s Private Markets teams, and will work closely with investment professionals, finance, legal & compliance, and fund administrators.

The Client Reporting Vice President for the Japan Business is a dedicated resource for the customized separate account business with the Japanese clients.

The Vice President will be responsible for understanding each client’s unique needs and must have the ability to portray and analyze information in reports to meet those needs.

Accuracy and timeliness are of utmost importance.

Responsibilities :

Manage reporting functions for Japanese private market clients, administering quality controls to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting which includes monthly, quarterly, ESG and ad-hoc reporting requirements

Liaise with the Japan program management team on reviewing and finalizing the reports

Day-to-day liaising with Investment teams, Finance, Operations and Legal / Compliance

Collaborate with IT and the Data Strategy teams on technology initiatives and automation projects to enhance portfolio monitoring, analysis and reporting

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree, with Finance background

8+ years of post-graduate experience; relevant professional experience in private equity is preferred

Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

Ability to apply advanced analytics to solve problems

Keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple complex tasks

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment

Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills

Desire to work in a team-oriented environment

Compensation Details

The salary range for this role is $135,000-$200,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.

We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City.

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical / dental / vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
