Postion : General Manager
Location : Orange County, CA
Salary Range : $80,000 - $85,000
An established restaurant in California is seeking an experienced and innovative General Manager to lead our team and ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities :
Culinary Leadership :
- Develop and implement creative menus that align with our vision, with a focus on seafood dishes.
- Lead and mentor kitchen staff, specializing in fish preparation and oyster shucking.
- Maintain consistent quality and presentation of all dishes.
Operational Management :
- Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management, budgeting, and cost control, with an emphasis on seafood sourcing.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld, especially in seafood handling.
Team Collaboration :
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that encourages staff creativity and professional growth.
- Coordinate with other departments to provide a seamless dining experience, focusing on seafood offerings.
Vendor Relations :
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to secure fresh, high-quality seafood ingredients.
Innovation :
Stay current with culinary trends and introduce new ideas to enhance the menu, particularly in seafood preparation and presentation.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a General Manager in a high-volume, upscale restaurant, with expertise in seafood preparation.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts, especially seafood.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, particularly in seafood handling
