Job Summary :
Our local growing, family owned, Towing & Specialized Hauling business, is in need of an Outside Sales Representative to increase sales in our Southeastern United States territory.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, cultivating those opportunities, and feeding those leads to the outside sales team.
The Outside Sales Representative will also monitor industry trends in order to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue.

Candidates work as ambassadors and are responsible for establishing and maintaining good relationships with customers. They must build trust and act as support for prospects, ensuring they lead to potential future sales.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct calls with customers daily in order to feed cultivated leads to the sales team
- Build and maintain relationships with customers
- Maintain records of all sales leads and / or customer accounts
- Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally
- Sell the company’s products or services to customers
- Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs
- Work closely with the marketing department to help build the brand
- Generate sales and contact reports each week through the company’s CRM software and submit them to management
- Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and assist the outside sales team in turning those prospects into customers
- Update client information in the company contact database
- Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth
- Create and implement a sales strategy that makes sure you meet personal sales goals, as well as those set in place by the company.
- Coordinate with other members of the sales team and team leaders as needed to generate leads and provide excellent customer service.
- Adhere to all company procedures, values and policies so that you provide an accurate representation of the company to all potential and current customers.
- Perform your duties as efficiently as possible, reducing costs when possible.
Outside Sales Representative Education, Skills, and Experience :
Outside sales representatives are preferred to have an Associates Degree (or higher) in marketing, business, economics, communications, and / or any equivalent experience that demonstrates expertise in customer engagement.
Having a well-developed phone presence and a high comfort level in initiating conversations is essential to fulfilling the daily duties of this role.
Aside from a social and positive personality, sales representatives must be self-starters and proactive problem solvers since not every day is the same and the workplace setting is constantly changing.

Other Requirements and Experience include :
- Associate's Degree in Business Administration preferred
- 2+ years customer service or sales experience
