POSITION SUMMARY :
The position is based in Phoenix , AZ and delivers lubrication and chemical supplies, to our branches within the company also to customers within our geographic region.
The driver will typically be away from home for one night a week as well as doing local routes on the non-transfer days.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Perform vehicle pre / post-trip inspection in alignment with corporate and federal regulations
- Operate all equipment within guidelines of corporate or jurisdictional requirements, including all regulations
- Every truck is loaded with the correct product and quantity before exiting the yard
- Deliver bulk and packaged product to the customer after first verifying capacity and product accuracy
- Maintain all required paperwork, including delivery tickets, bills of lading, retain transactions, and logbook if applicable
- Work cooperatively with co-workers and contribute to a pleasant and accommodating work environment through a spirit of teamwork
- Perform all reasonable work-related assignments as requested by the supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS :
- The selected individual must at all times maintain the following in good status :
- DOT Medical Certification
- CDL (Class A) in Arizona
- Minimum 2 years related to a commercial driving experience
- Must possess excellent customer service skills including telephone communication
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
- Ability to continually lift up to 75+
- Must be able to transition from driver to loader / unloader continuously
