POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Manager will control and maintain the master schedule, project budget and quality of a construction project from residential, commercial, industrial buildings to schools etc.
A single Project Manager might oversee the entire project, multiple projects or multiple managers might oversee specific aspects of a large project.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Demonstrate proactive ownership of assigned projects, from start to finish
- Maintain effective communication with project team members, owners, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve deficiencies, issues, and disputes
- Oversee project tasks : planning, scheduling, budgeting, quality control, safety, and subcontractors
- Ensure proper adherence of policies set by the client, company, and projects
- Maintain excellent quality and cost management standards on jobsite
- Monitor project progress and schedules to ensure deadlines are properly met
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient computer skills, PROCORE, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project
- Knowledgeable about public works labor compliance requirements
- Experience with Financial and Job Cost Accounting
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency
- Ability to identify deficient work and provide resolution.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, codes, and regulations.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and materials.
- Familiar with OSHA health and safety standards.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Must have effective time management skills
