Responsibilities

To be determined-Day Shift

The Role

Customers Service Representatives are responsible for handling complaints, enter orders, assist with will call customers, and provide information about products and services.

Essential Responsibilities Include, but Not Limited To

Provides timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests

Processes customer orders / changes / returns according to established department policies and procedures

Works closely with the credit department to resolve disputed credit items

Provides timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns

Partners with the sales team to meet and exceed customer’s service expectations

  • Maintain a sound working knowledge of all markets and product conditions
  • Notify and assist buyers, operations and sales support persons by communication of customer's needs and preferences.
  • Maintain effective, professional relationships with customers, vendors, and fellow employees.
  • Organize and provide assistance for special sales, promotions, seasonal items
  • Responsible for the administrative tasks required by the Sales Team, including but not exclusive to pricing reports, order guide maintenance, correspondence with receiving teams for proof of delivery and order entry
  • Responsible for Quality and Food Safety
  • Position requires performing any combination of the following job duties :
  • Keeping abreast of market conditions and new items.
  • Meeting all company and sales profit objectives
  • Assist with labels and allocation when needed

Required Experience

  • Advanced MS Office experience (Outlook and Excel)
  • Proven courteous phone manner
  • Prefers AS400 experience
  • Able to work flexible hours and days as required by the work load
  • Ability to multi-task while recording accurate information
  • Ten key by touch
  • Spanish bilingual a plus
  • Produce knowledge a plus
