4Creeks is seeking a Construction Inspector to work under the direction of a Construction Manager as part of our Construction Management team.
Responsibilities for this position would include but are not limited to :
- Attending pre-construction, weekly & coordination meetings regularly
- Evaluating plans and specifications for construction projects to ensure construction compliance
- Conducting field inspections to confirm project conformance to project standards & construction documents
- Coordinating field and laboratory tests on materials to measure compliance with regulations
- Completing daily inspector project reports
- Daily quantity tracking for monthly progress payments, coordination with the contractor on quantities
- Extra work tracking for work not in the original contract
- Maintaining project field records, materials tickets, as-builts
- Communicating with internal and client project managers
- Coordination with contractors
Minimum Qualifications
- Has to be able to work a 40 hr. work week schedule
- 2+ years experience as a public works construction inspector
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive to job sites throughout California
- Strong communication skills
- Construction Management experience is preferred but not required
Compensation
The salary will be determined by the candidates skill and experience level and highly competitive with industry standards.
Benefits package includes full employee health coverage (50% coverage for dependents), company 401(k) contribution, participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) and performance bonuses.
The expected pay range for this position is $30-$42 / hr.
