Description
As a Technical Program Manager at Parsons, you will work with directly with clients, technical directors, and drive development teams to deliver mission impacting systems and solutions.
Strong understanding of networks, systems, and cyber is required for this position. You’ll be responsible for actively managing all aspects of multiple projects including : technical performance, cost, schedule, staffing, and risk.
This position requires full time in office with our Centreville, VA team.
What You'll Be Doing :
- Daily Client Engagement and Communication (contract officers, technical managers, other government partners)
- Responsible for organic growth (whitepapers, RFI responses, etc)
- Leading all aspects of multiple projects
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports and deliverables, including invoicing.
- Ensure all work performed is high quality, meeting the customer's needs regarding funding and scheduling.
- Develop and maintain project plans with milestones for operations and technical planning.
- Provide cost tracking and reporting of staffing and all contract expenditures.
What Required Skills You'll Bring :
- Must have a Bachelor of Science in engineering, scientific, technical discipline, or comparable work experience
- Must have active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and amenable for poly upgrade
- Experience leading highly complex technical projects.
- Experience in growth and business development activities (proposals, whitepapers, market surveys, etc)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring :
- PMI Project Management Professional (or similar) or PMI Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification
- Experience in roles giving the PM an understanding of DoD or IC engineering, testing, and operations programs that would enable the PM to readily communicate and understand mission needs
- One or more SAFe or other Agile methodology certifications
- Proficient with at least one schedule management tool (e.g. MS Project or Jira Portfolio)
- Accomplished mentor to inspire and develop the next generation of Program Managers

Salary Range :
