Responsibilities
Our twelve-room OR suite maintains a 1 : 1 nurse-to-patient ratio, which enables us to form close relationships with patients and their families during very difficult times.
We also feature a 44-bay multi-level PACU with staff dedicated to trauma and other emergency cases. Our PACU features a 1 : 2 nurse-to-patient ratio.
Throughout the unit we are committed to using the latest technology, affording staff the opportunity to constantly learn and enhance their skills.
As a Level I Trauma Center, we are operational 24 / 7.
The Ortho Coordinator is a Registered Nurse that is responsible for coordinating and implementing services and activities related to the designated surgical services lines.
Responsibilities :
- Ensuring that patient receives best possible clinical and service experience from the time of surgery scheduling throughout the perioperative experience by overseeing patient OR staff and resident education.
- Maintaining the quality standards for responsive service including data management of key quality indicators.
- Functions as a liaison between the physicians nursing staff OR leadership allied health professionals patients and families.

- Preferred : Trauma experience
- Knowledge of Robotic patient care standards
