About The Role

Working remotely or from our offices in San Francisco, Chicago, or Washington D.C., you will be shaping products that save lives.

Through partnership with design, engineering and the business team, you will ship products and features that enable critical operations for high value customers and move topline business metrics.

In this role, you'll not only engage with customers, identify opportunities, and drive best in class experiences for our customers, but you'll also shape how product is built as Somewear continues to rapidly grow.

Working closely with the CEO and CTO, this is a high visibility role with the opportunity to have tremendous impact on the overall business.

What you'll do

  • Drive the end-to-end success of new products and features that delight our customers and further Somewear's vision.
  • Contribute to overall company product strategy.
  • Identify new opportunities based on customer insights and work with design and engineering to bring these concepts to fruition.
  • Develop and execute the product roadmap alongside product and business leaders and build consensus on prioritization.
  • Understand user needs through market assessment, quantitative analysis, and qualitative feedback.
  • Gather and document product requirements.
  • Analyze metrics that inform product success & health, as well as future work.
  • Continually make our product development processes better, as we ship products quickly while maintaining a high quality bar.

What we're seeking

Must have

  • Brings 5-10 years of product management experience to the team and has previously built mobile and web products.
  • Is detail oriented and curious about how to deliver innovative user experiences.
  • Has a track record of accomplishing goals by effectively partnering with engineering and design teams, as well as other cross-functional teams.
  • Thinks about user empathy and customer orientation when designing and building products.
  • Deeply analytical and capable of using data to inform decision making.
  • May not have a CS degree but can challenge engineers on system design decisions.
  • Has the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and to remain flexible.
  • Willing to occasionally travel to customer sites for hands on research, learning and testing
  • Can thrive in a small-team, fast paced, dynamic environment, that requires both high levels of autonomy and stakeholder management.
  • Accomplishes work through product management best practices, combined with incredible hustle.
  • Has a track record of scaling products and up-leveling teams.
  • Is passionate about understanding users and building life saving features.
  • Is excited by tough technical challenges.
