Our client, a leading manufacturer of plastics consumer products, are seeking a skilled Process Technician / Equipment Maintenance Technician to oversee the operations of their injection and blow molding machines, as well as maintain production equipment.

Responsibilities :
- Operate and maintain 10 to 15 injection and blow molding machines, ensuring optimal productivity and quality standards.
- Set up and adjust machines, molds, fixtures, and auxiliary equipment in accordance with safety, quality, and productivity guidelines.
- Diagnose equipment issues, perform repairs, and recommend improvements to enhance production methods and equipment performance.
- Collaborate with production personnel to ensure full utilization of machines and labor.
- Train and guide material handlers and maintenance helpers in best practices and safety protocols.
- Stay updated on new technologies, methods, and materials relevant to the position.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent; specialized courses in trades such as pneumatics, hydraulics, and plastic processing preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in a related role; expertise in injection and / or blow molding processes is a plus.
- Technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Proficiency with power and hand tools, as well as microprocessor-controlled equipment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual candidates are a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding environment, including lifting up to 50 pounds, and standing or walking for extended periods.
