Responsibilities
- Answer phones and check patients in and out
- Verify insurance and handle medical records and other clerical tasks
- Schedule Patient Referrals out as needed
- Collect co-pays, co-insurance & balances
- Medical records requests
- Index scanned documents
- Organize and disperse all paperwork for incoming faxes
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a medical front office role.
- Proficiency with EMR software is a plus.
- Someone polite and courteous with patients.
- Hard-working in a fast-paced environment.
