The main purpose of the job
Throughout a project, the Project Manager must communicate with staff and clients, make decisions, and monitor the project's progress to keep it on schedule.
Enter orders into the Job Management System and place purchase orders with vendors. Prepares shipping schedules and communicates those dates with customers.
We are creating long-term and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
What You'll Do :
Establish and maintain good working relations with all key vendors.
Practices good interpersonal relations, using tact, courtesy, a positive attitude toward customers and co-workers, pleasant telephone and email etiquette, and a general attitude as a representative of goodwill on behalf of the company at work or during company travel.
Handles difficulties with customers and coworkers with diplomacy and seeks assistance when needed.
Assists customers with shipping discrepancies and defective materials on job-related orders.
Resolve customer order problems and complaints promptly.
Acquires, uses, and continuously develops personal technical knowledge of general and specialty merchandise items to assist customers and other company personnel.
Ability to prepare quotations, assist call in and / or walk in customers.
Identifies, uses, and maintains appropriate company and / or customer pricing systems.
Ability to do take-offs.
Prepare shipping schedules.
Procure and expedite job related material.
Maintain schedule of upcoming jobs and track bid results.
Maintain lighting and gear orders in the Codale Job Management System.
Support and promote company initiatives and processes.
Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring :
1-2 years experience working as a Project Manager
Warehouse logistics experience
Creating and executing shipping schedules
Experience in logistic problem-solving
Must have strong organizational skills.
Oral and written communication skills with excellent math skills are needed.
Able to work independently, and as a team, while handling and prioritizing multiple tasks
Ability to work directly with customers and suppliers
Able to utilize the internet to get product information from manufacturer websites for submittal information
