RESPONSIBLEFOR :
Staff nurses provide care topatients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursingprocesses to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care forpatients.
Staff nurses function within the framework of thepolicies and procedures of the organization and demonstratesprofessional growth and accountability.
The staff nurse isresponsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinatingpatient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision ofquality nursing care.
MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED :
Graduate of a nursingprogram
MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED :
Two (2) years nursing experience in ahospital setting
MINIMUMLICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW :
CurrentLicense in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC / eNLCMultistate License.
BLS certificationrequired.
ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's degreepreferred.
Advanced certification in field of specialty,if applicable (see addendum)
