We are seeking Platform Engineers who are passionate about developing highly-resilient, fundamentally-sound objects to support the Human Resource technology driving Capital One.

You will champion automation of functional and technical processes and bring your expertise to drive innovative solutions.
General Responsibilities :
Understand and translate the priorities of the business while integrating HR value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business
Deliver solutions in Workday across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll and Benefits through efficient and organized processes while maintaining high standards
Effectively communicate across team, Product Owner, stakeholders and influence solutions across business partners
Identify opportunities for process improvements, collaborate with HR partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results.
Design and develop complex integrations within the Workday platform to support candidate and associate experience using web service technologies, SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML, XSLT.
Provide technical expertise on Workday Studio technologies, security, troubleshooting system issues, data analysis, vendor management and coordination with other HR / Enterprise teams.
Lead a team of integrators and configurators to support the Workday Recruiting module
Work with product owners to align on priorities and deliver on key objectives using Agile methodologies, while maintaining the highest platform and Enterprise standards.
Design and develop automation workflows, perform unit tests and conduct code reviews for self and the team, to make sure work is rigorously designed, elegantly coded and effectively tuned for platform performance and quality.
Basic Qualifications :
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 6 years experience in platform engineering on HR platforms (Workday, Peoplesoft, or Successfactors)
At least 3 years of experience designing and developing integration solutions
At least 2 years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree
5+ years of experience working with Workday Human Resources modules including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting or Talent and Performance Management
4+ years of experience designing and developing integration solutions in Workday using Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Custom Reports or RaaS solutions
4+ years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP
Workday Integration Developer certifications
2+ years designing and developing solutions using Workday Extend
2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure or another cloud service
2+ years of experience in Agile practices

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
