About the opportunity :
- One of the best healthcare organizations in Massachusetts located in Medford , MA is currently in need of a lot of Adult Mental Health Counselors to join their growing team
- They provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities including autism
- You will be responsible for supporting the clients who are unable to perform routine daily activities without assistance
Adult Mental Health Counselor Responsibilities :
- Monitoring the physical, mental, and emotional conditions of clients
- Performing personal hygiene care and housekeeping duties
- Administering medicine and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Assisting clients from their beds into chairs or wheelchairs, and back
- Accompanying clients on trips, such as medical appointments
Adult Mental Health Counselor Qualifications :
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Caregiving experience with adults is highly preferred
- Applicants must pass the Medication Administration Program (MAP) certification
- Dependable, reliable, and caring
