SOFTWARE ENGINEER III (FRONT-END/WEB FULL STACK)

About Team :

As part of Walmart's Social Commerce team, you will be building highly scalable and reliable APIs, data-pipelines, services and applications which will drive the next generation of affiliates, open-API and social commerce experiences.

You'll independently handle high impact, critical software / systems monitoring issues, troubleshoot business and production issues.

What you'll do :

• Develop highly scalable services and solve complex software systems problems by leveraging state-of-the-art technology
• Gain exposure to various emerging technologies used in Marketing and E-commerce platforms.
• Drive projects of high visibility across the organization.
• Participates in medium- to large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects by reviewing project requirements; translating requirements into technical solutions;
• gathering requested information (for example, design documents, product requirement); writing and developing code; conducting unit testing;
• communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders; collaborating with cross functional teams; troubleshooting open issues and bug-fixes;

enhancing design to prevent re-occurrences of defects; ensuring on-time delivery.

What you'll bring :

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years of experience building scalable ecommerce applications
• Strong Experience with ReactJS / Redux and web development experience required.
• Strong experience interfacing with Web Services platforms
• Proficient in RESTful Services, Java, Scala, Spring Boot / Play Framework, RDBMS, NoSql, Python
• Proficient in JavaScript, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, JSON
• Proficient in NodeJS, GraphQL
• Proficient in development of scalable cloud native microservices
• Proficient with Designing and building APIs
• Proficient with event driven architecture
• Experience with Cloud Technologies like Azure and GCP
• Proficient in real time & batch pipelines in big data technologies (i.e. Spark / Kafka / Cassandra / Hadoop / Hive / Elasticsearch)

Even Better if You Have :

• Designed, built, and maintained APIs, services of highly scalable platforms.
• Designed and built video streaming applications, with highly efficient streaming protocols and including real time video analytics.
• Worked extensively with Kafka or other high volume-low latency messaging infrastructure and built real time and batch data driven applications
• Extensive knowledge of open-source libraries, design patterns and micro-service architecture. Familiarity with CI / CD and unit testing
• Experience in production system operations (logging, telemetry, alerting etc.)
• The keen eyes for detail and desire to learn, win, collaborate, and relish a challenge.
• Knowledge and / or experience in Data mining, Machine Learning, Image and Video Processing

Sunnyvale, California US-07003 : The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00

Bentonville, Arkansas US-10735 : The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
