About The Position
Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Specialty : Nuclear Medicine Technology with expertise in Radiology and Cardiology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Shift, 4x10-Hour (08 : 00 - 18 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 2 years in specialty required License : Compact or LA license required upon submission Certifications : ARRT(N)(RT) or NMTCB required, AHA certifications required, CPI certification for ER nurses is recommended Must-Have : COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations are required, medical / religious exemptions only Job Description : Perform Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures.
- Work with a daily average of 25 patients.- Operate in facilities with 5 rooms and 6 beds for Nuclear Medicine.- Be on-call from 17 : 00 to 00 : 00, Monday to Friday, every 6th weekend.
- Utilize nucTrac Documentation System.- Adhere to medical compliance including Tier 2 Travel Compliance.- Must reside over 65 miles away from the facility.
- Orientation conducted 5 days a week, with 8 hours of orientation required.- Provide two Manager / Supervisor references for clearance.
- Charge RNs references are not acceptable.- Ensure NURSYS Reports for RNs are up to date within 4 weeks before submission.
- Separate from prior permanent staff or in-house agency roles for 1 year before reapplying as a traveler.
