The Vice President of Product & Marketing Strategy assists in defining the strategy, direction, and roadmap of AGT North America’s product and services business lines : Class III, Class II, TLS and HHR.
This position works closely with Sales, Game Development, and Senior Executives to meet North American strategic objectives.
The position reports to the North American President - Chief Commercial Officer and works hand-in-hand with Sales to accomplish all strategic commercial goals related to the North American market.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement product strategy : Identify where company products are positioned in the market and plan on how to evolve them efficiently and effectively.
Work hand-in-hand with North American President and SVP of Sales on product and sales strategy.
Market analysis : Monitor and forecast market trends, conduct competitor analysis, and understand potential strategic partner relationships.
Aide in the development of full North American gaming portfolio; measure product performance to identify key areas of improvement.
- Lead and collaborate : Work closely with the product development and marketing teams to create a product development plan, pricing strategies, product launch strategies, and product communication strategies.
- Customer interaction : Meet clients to gather feedback about the product and understand their requirements and key business challenges which can be addressed through the organization's products or services.
- Direct product management efforts in North America.
- Develop market requirements, identify trends and opportunities, and assess the competitive environment to aide in the development of full gaming portfolio;
monitor the competitive landscape and measure product performance to identify key areas of improvement.
- Strategic development : Product release roadmaps with focus on jurisdictional targets to ensure strong product performance.
- Oversee key product installations, including strategic installations of key IP and Link brands.
- Monitor performance and maintain healthy footprint of Test Bank installations across multiple North American gaming jurisdictions to drive further visibility in Game feedback loop.
- Provide Sales Training : North American account executives and key U.S. Distributors in multiple markets. Serve as key spokesperson in media and oversee any public relations or corporate communications objectives related to Ainsworth in North America, while maintaining corporate branding guidelines in partnership with the Global Marketing group.
- Directly manage business communications around key product placements; including but not limited to strategic installations of licensed IP, new hardware, and the implementation of top tier brands.
- Drive portfolio analysis around category segmentation, product life cycles, development requirements, product performance and key metrics that will aide in driving development strategies and planning.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in marketing or business-related field.
- Proven experience as a VP of Product Strategy or equivalent leadership role.
- 8+ years in Gaming marketing, product management or analytics with history of escalating responsibilities.
- Thorough understanding of market trends, customer needs and the competitive landscape.
- Strong strategic thinking leadership skills, excellent understanding of business and revenue models.
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to travel.
The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming registration.
