Job Summary
The Credit Services Representative is responsible for assisting Credit Relationship Managers in collection of past due balances, processing lien waivers, reconciling discrepancies, and performing daily audits of our Business Process Outsourcing (BPO).
This role will be key in helping to identify areas of opportunity to improve our internal processes that help to mitigate reconciling issues on accounts as well as being instrumental in guiding the BPO on our internal processes.
The CSR will also handle special areas of focus for improvement and special projects as assigned. The CSR will be knowledgeable in our systems, policy and procedures to serve as a backup to the Credit Relationship Managers.
Job Responsibilities
- Contact Customers with Delinquent balances
- Compile and Analyze Credit information to support Credit File Reviews
- Processing of All Lien Waivers
- Reconciling Discrepancies and identifying areas of opportunity to improve
- Daily audits of the Business Process Outsourcing
- Back up Credit Relationship Managers when needed
- Manage Sales Tax Exemption Certificates
Minimum Requirements
- 2-year college degree or equivalent
- 4+ years credit collection experience
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Knowledge of Teams
- Credit Analysis and understanding of sales tax exemption certificates
- Excellent Time Management
- Works well with others
