Description : *Looking for a strong Java developer to work at JPMC CCB within Card Pricing. The Card Pricing application works to determine statement at the end of each month, determine APR and fee structures, rewarding or penalizing clients.
All card swipe computations are processed on this team.The team comes from a mainframe experience and needs a candidate to serve as a SME for this project to introduce more efficient options based on EXPERIENCE.
Candidate must have modernization / migration AWS experience specifically in regard to big data and relational databases.
Essentially, the team needs someone who has done this project before to share perspective and be a pioneer in defining the strategy for this modernization / migration effort.
The team is currently 5% migrated to AWS, and although they are trained on AWS, they are operating based on theoretical knowledge (AWS certification learning) rather than hands on experience, hence the need for a skilled AWS professional with database experience.
