About The Position
Job Title : Sterile Processing Technician Job Specialty : Surgical Services Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (07 : 00 - 15 : 30), Monday to Friday, No weekend shifts Guaranteed Hours : Orientation : 28 hours Experience : Minimum 2 years required, Must have 1 prior travel assignment License : Valid state license required;
specific requirements depend on location Certifications : - Sterile reprocessing certification required- Endoscope reprocessing certification preferred Must-Have : - Flu vaccine required (No exemptions)- Ability to potentially come into contact with COVID-19 positive patients Job Description : Responsible for the cleaning, sterilization, assembly, and storage of surgical instruments.
- Ensure all instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and in good working condition prior to surgical procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and adhere to all compliance standards.- Work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure availability of required instruments and devices.
- Complete required training modules prior to start and during orientation.- Adhere to all safety and infection control guidelines.
- Flexibility in job functions and additional tasks as assigned by personnel or management. Note : Willingness to work without an interview.
Must be comfortable with the submittal and review process.
