Pay information
Competitive base pay PLUS ANNUAL BONUS!
What you’ll bring to the team
- Assist our experienced dental team in providing exceptional patient care
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure a clean and organized environment
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
- Support dentists during procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring smooth workflow
- Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain patient records accurately
Requirements
Before applying, it is imperative that you meet the state requirements outlined below :
- Connecticut : certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
- Florida : Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X-rays).
- Georgia : CPR Certification, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification, and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
- Massachusetts : CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X-rays, BORID certification and annual CE requirements must be completed per state regulations.
- Michigan : Upon hiring, you are required to furnish evidence of X-ray training certification. If you do not possess certification at the time of hiring, you are granted an 8-week period to submit it.
- New Jersey : Proof of X-ray training.
- New York : Not applicable.
- Ohio : Proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to Expose X-rays)
- Texas : CPR Certification, TSBDE : TX State Board of Dental Examiners.
It would be even better if you also had
- 2+ years of previous dental assisting experience or relevant education is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in dental software and technology is a plus
