Certification Details
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.
- Must have skills validated in hospital's SIMs lab.
Job Details
- Adult ICU Pods nurse position available.
- Level I Trauma experience required.
- Nurses will complete SIMs Lab for certain procedures.
- Training on lifts, restraints, and wound care provided.
- Candidates must be competent in maintaining sterile field.
Job Requirements
- 2 years ICU experience required.
- Experience in 600+ bed teaching facility required.
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.
- Must pass DYS exam prior to acceptance.
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips is necessary.
Schedule Information
- 12 hour shifts (7-7).
- 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks required.
- Holiday rotation with core staff.
- Floating required amongst all ICU and MedSurg / Tele units.
Unit Specific Information
- MICU, SICU, TICU nurse-patient ratios are 1 : 1-2.
- Intensivist in-house 24 / 7.
- Responsible for ventilator management (Cervo I, jets, oscillators).
- Must be able to perform bedside procedures (e.g., bronchoscopy, tracheostomy, hemodialysis catheter placement).

- Unit specific orientations provided.
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
- Medical Solutions Pre-Screens followed by an AUTO OFFER if clinical requirements are met.
