Press Operator

Mancan is working with a company in Winesburg seeking dedicated individuals to fill their press operator position. This is a full-time, temp-to-permanent opportunity.

Hours are Sunday-Thursday from midnight to 8 am. Pay is $16 / hour.

As a Press Operator, you will play a critical role in our manufacturing process, operating machinery and performing manual labor in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Your responsibilities will involve maintaining the efficiency and quality of production, requiring physical strength and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities :

Machine Operation : Operate and maintain press machinery to ensure the efficient production of goods.

Manual Labor : Perform manual tasks related to the production process, including loading and unloading materials, inspecting products, and making necessary adjustments.

Adherence to Safety Protocols : Strictly adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Hot Environment : Work in an environment with elevated temperatures; maintain focus and adhere to safety measures while in these conditions.

Fast-Paced Environment : Work in a high-speed production setting, maintaining focus and efficiency to meet production quotas.

Physical Capability : Be physically capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and carrying materials and products weighing up to 50 pounds.

Quality Control : Conduct regular quality checks on products and machinery to ensure that the production process meets the required standards.

Team Collaboration : Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality control personnel to maintain a smooth workflow and address any production concerns.

Documentation : Maintain records of production activities, machine settings, and quality control checks.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or press operator role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a hot and fast-paced environment.
• Strong physical capabilities, including the ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, twist, and perform manual labor tasks.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols and procedures.
