Connell Foley LLP is seeking a Litigation Paralegal with at least three (3) years of relevant experience to work with our New York team in our NYC office.
Qualified candidates should demonstrate knowledge in complex civil litigation matters, including but not limited to : Labor Law, premises liability, product liability, GL, Asbestos and general insurance defense.
Essential Job Functions
- Coordinate document productions, including bates-stamping, redaction and indexing of documents. Set up and maintain files, perform investigative searches, coordinate with medical providers to obtain medical records.
- Prepare case and medical memoranda.
- Prepare for trials. Organize exhibits, prepare trial binders, pre-trial information, coordinate trial set-up and logistics.
- Court filings. Work with attorneys in the preparation and filing of filings in NJ and NY State and Federal Court.
- Motion practice. Prepare relevant documents, proofread papers, organize exhibits and create document indices.
- Attends to communication through telephone, email and correspondence with courts, clients and counsel and maintaining Team's schedule of court appearances, depositions, inspections, medical examinations, etc.

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) related to law or business from four-year college or university; or 3+ years related experience and / or training (i.
