Substitute Teacher - Port Arthur ISD

We are hiring substitute teachers for Port Arthur ISD for the 2024-2025 School Year. No previous experience is required!

Minimum Requirements :

• Must have completed 30 college hours or higher for the Substitute Teacher position.
• If you DO NOT MEET the minimum requirement listed above - we are also hiring Instructional Aides, Custodians, and Food Service which have the minimum requirement of a HS Diploma / GED.

We also have accounts with Charter Schools in the area that only require a minimum of a HS Diploma / GED. Responsibilities and Job Description(s) :

• Assume duties of the classroom teacher in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies
• Build a classroom environment that’s conducive to learning and appropriate to the ability and interests of students
• For long-term assignments, it may be required to develop lessons plans, as well as build, administer, and grade tests and assignments
