Our client is currently seeking a NEC Telecom Network Engineer
This role will be hybrid onsite in Everett, WA
This job will have the following responsibilities :
- Experience : A minimum of five years of related practical experience with NEC systems and applications.
- Proficiency in configuring NEC systems and applications to meet customer requirements.
- Skilled in performing move / add / change activities on NEC IP Telephony products.
- Solid working knowledge and practical experience with DC power systems.
Qualifications & Requirements :
- Design and implement NEC systems, applications, and associated equipment across major customer locations in Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio.
- Evaluate network specifications, applications, software, and communications.
- Provide troubleshooting and consultative advice for equipment upgrades and improvements.
- Lead installations and services on customer Multi-Functional Devices.
- Diagnose issues, conduct tests, and perform equipment adjustments and repairs.
- Offer technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
- Collaborate with management and staff to gather information on customer requirements and technology trends.
- Contribute to the definition of product features and specifications based on market needs.
- Support products including NEC SV9500, UM4730 VM, Commview Call Accounting System, and OW5000-UCD application.
- Dedicate 90% of time to on-site and remote technical assistance, including troubleshooting NEC equipment and Telco circuits.
- Provide innovative solutions to customers and perform basic VoIP network readiness assessments.
