Responsibilities
- Maintain healthy and professional relationships with all children, parents and other teachers
- Update parents through Procare on daily activities throughout shift
- Collaborate with other teachers as needed
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
- Must be comfortable and confident managing a classroom independently
Skills
- Excellent knowledge of early childhood development and education
- Ability to create a stimulating and safe learning environment
- Ability to manage a classroom of toddlers and implement fun and engaging activities throughout the day
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
- Excellent communication and instructional skills
- Empathetic and caring
- Reliable and punctual
Requirements
- Be able to pass an enhanced background check through Health and Welfare
- Need to have or be able to obtain Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification
