Responsibilities
As the Director of Nursing Engagement, your primary responsibility will be to support and enhance relationships with nursing leaders (CNO Compass One) and nurses as part of the business partnership.
You will develop nurse involvement action plans based on site-specific data in collaboration with the Compass One VP of Nursing, operators, and support teams.
Additionally, you will communicate nursing needs to operations and support teams in collaboration with the Compass One VP of Nursing.
The Director will also work closely with the Compass One VP and operations teams to strengthen nursing relationships within the current account base.
This role requires up to 50% nationwide travel, depending on specific needs. You will be responsible for scheduling travel accommodation within budget limits (costs covered by receiving support) and tracking spending within the communicated allowance.
- Identifies the current reality of the nursing / support service partnership.
- Develop and implement comprehensive engagement strategies tailored to various stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams, to foster strong relationships and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Analyze engagement data and feedback to assess the effectiveness of initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to enhance future engagement strategies.
- Establishes key relationships with Compass One CNO the hospital nursing staff (CNO, Case Management / Social Services, nurse leaders and Dieticians)
- Oversee the planning, execution, and measurement of engagement initiatives and events, ensuring they meet objectives, stay within budget, and deliver an elevated level of participant satisfaction.
- Responsible for assisting in nurse specific action plans in coordination with the on-site operations team and nursing leaders.
- Provides consultation to sales leaders on potential healthcare projects and collaborations with external partners.
- Participate in the Shared Governance / Nurse Council group that exists in designated locations (Partner with Compass nurse leadership in development)
- Identifies the operational resources to foster relationships.
- Identifies hospital operations and designs solutions around specific functions evaluate ED admission percentages, flow of business, heat map times that admissions occur and discharges).
- Facilitate cross-functional team meetings to ensure alignment on engagement objectives, share best practices, and coordinate efforts across departments.
- Maintains an awareness of the nurse satisfaction updates and industry conditions including internal and external to the accounts.
- Works closely with on-site management team to reach operational goals.
- Attend conferences that will enhance business development for the organization.
- Share standard processes and best practices from each organization / nurse conference.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse
- 5 - 10 years of experience
- Senior Nurse Leadership experience desired
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
