IT Purchasing Manager
Job Description
The IT Purchasing Manager will be responsible for sourcing and managing Software, Hardware, and Telecom related suppliers.
As an IT Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for all commercial aspects of awarding new business, negotiating software licensing agreements, developing strong supplier relationships, and working side by side with our Enterprise Technology stakeholders to push the envelope of our technical requirements.
You will also take the lead in making sure can meet its cost targets and suppliers deliver to our aggressive timelines. software and IT hardware are delivered in accordance with the business requirements and specifications.
You will own every aspect of the sourcing process from start to finish and everything in between.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (MBA in Supply Chain Management preferred)
- 5+ years of relevant Information Technology (IT) related Purchasing Experience (hardware, software, telecom, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience performing strategic sourcing, cost analysis, negotiations and contract negotiations in a procurement environment
- Ability to execute strategic sourcing (7-step) project autonomously with little direction or oversight
- Previous ERP systems and purchase order processing experience Coupa preferred
- Previous Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system experience Ironclad preferred
- Able to work independently with little instruction and can adapt to change
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to details and deadlines
