The Marketing Coordinator I will coordinate efforts for Business Development & Marketing as well as develop, produce, coordinate and implement various internal and external related marketing deliverables and services.

This position works independently, under general supervision, exercising judgment in the application of standard methodologies and procedures for routine work;

problems faced are typically complex.

This position requires a personable candidate with an ability to assist the business development team to present Maxson’s services in a compelling and innovative way.

The individual must have strong organizational skills, be energetic, have a creative mindset, and have professional writing and presentation competencies.

This position Reports to the Senior Marketing Manager and has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist in customizing, implementing and evolving the Marketing Program :
  • Help the effort of fostering marketing within the culture
  • Aid in the development of marketing deliverables for Project Specific pursuits, Client Share process, and Market Share process
  • Data Entry and maintenance of the Client Relationship Management (CRM) Database
  • Implementation of the Company Wide Marketing Plan to place and manage the brand
  • Graphic Design to support Marketing Deliverables
  • Support upkeep of the Proposal Library
  • Support upkeep of Social Media accounts
  • Support upkeep of the Maxson website
  • Support Administrative Staff with Brand Management
  • Support Marketing policies and procedures
  • Assist in customizing, implementing and evolving strategic Business Development Initiatives :
  • Track Industry Organizations and Associations Memberships and events
  • Participate in a weekly BD & Marketing Meeting

Working Environment :

The work performed with this position will be primarily in a heated / cooled office environment. The job will also involve occasional trips for various business purposes.

The equipment this employee is expected to operate include a computer, copier / scanner, phone, plotter, field survey tablet and various other field survey equipment.

Lifting requirements are minimal (less than 1% of time) and typically does not exceed 30 pounds.

Requirements :

Required Qualifications :

  • Experience with InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat software
  • Experience utilizing a Client Resource Management (CRM) software
  • General understanding for the MEP Engineering design and construction process
  • Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office

Desired Qualifications :

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the AEC industry as a marketing professional
  • Able to prioritize and handle deadlines
  • Social media experience
  • Experience with WordPress or other content Management System (CMS)

Education :

  • Four-year college or university program degree in Marketing or Communications; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
