Title : Sr. Accessibility Specialist

Job Duties :
- Drive adoption of WCAG AA standards and any applicable government standards through Hyatt’s development and design process
- Solutioning with Designers and Developers how to minimally adjust their work (visual design / code) to ensure a compliant accessible experience.
- Coordinate with 3rd parties to ensure secondary compliance and usability.
- Conducts design level, code level and screen reader based digital accessibility audits and provides guidance to designers and developers.
- Provide tactical guidance to novice teams on remediations and screen reader testing
- Create and maintain accessibility health measures.
Qualifications :
- Strong emotional intelligence and deep empathy
- Passionate about disability advocacy
- 7+ years in accessibility and advocacy
- Experience with assistive technologies (e.g., NVDA, JAWS, Voiceover, Talkback, & Dragon) and testing tools (e.g., axe, PAC3, & CCA)
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- 3+ years in program management, project management
EDUCATION :
- Bachelor's degree required
- IAAP certification (CPACC, WAS, etc)
- DHS v5 Trusted Tester certification
- PMP certification
