About The Position
Job Title : Radiologic Technologist Job Specialty : Nuclear Medicine Job Duration : 12 months Shift : Varied shifts Monday to Friday (specific shift discussed during interview) Guaranteed Hours : 24 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : Required to submit Certifications : - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certified Nuclear Cardiology Technologist (NMTCB-NCT) verification - Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Nuc Med) - ARRT (N) Must-Have : Skills in IV starts Job Description : - Rotate shift schedule covering various imaging studies - Float between different campuses as required - Perform common imaging studies such as Cardiac, HIDA, bone scan, gastric emptying, GI bleed, lung, brain death, and DAT scans - Average of 12 scans / studies per day - Use of Meditech EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS for documentation - Operate Siemens Symbia T6 equipment - On-call duties required - Wear black scrubs;
scrubs provided by the department - Department-specific orientation provided - Weekend and holiday work required - Report to Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech - Work with in-house radiologist until 5 pm and remote read until midnight
