Job Summary :
The Engineering Project Manager will support Engineering projects, documenting project plans, updating project management reporting tools, and monitoring that projects are on schedule and within budget.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Work with cross functional teams to develop product development plans, budgets, and milestones.
- Monitor and report specific requirements into the financial systems.
- Work with finance and functional lines to build budgets and monitor actual vs expected spend.
- Provide comprehensive planning and tracking support for the project team.
- Monitor Project Teams activities against Product Development Plan to identify deviations from planned timing, budget or scope.
- Ensure that the project team is informed of project status.
Minimum Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience overseeing project management budgets.
- Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Expertise with product development methodologies and processes.
- Experience with defining the scope, allocating resources, setting deadlines, laying out communication strategies, indicating tests and maintenance for engineering projects.
- Ability to work in a face paced and dynamic work environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience in software development and project management.
Preferred Qualifications :
- MBA or PMP certification.
- Familiarity with regulated medical product development practices will be a plus.
Education :
B.S. or M.S. degree in Engineering or a related field.
Compensation :
The anticipated range for this position is $110,000 - $160,000. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience.
