The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) position involves performing routine and critical respiratory care procedures under supervision.
This role is responsible for caring for a wide range of patient populations.

Key Responsibilities :
- Evaluate and deliver respiratory care based on patient care plans
- Administer routine respiratory therapy and medication with precision
- Setup, maintain, and monitor oxygen therapy, aerosol / humidity therapy, and ventilator therapy
- Provide ventilator support and airway management for diverse patient populations
- Conduct arterial and capillary blood gas analysis following medical direction
- Possibly trained in endotracheal intubation and arterial line insertion
- Complete assessments and accurately chart patient information
- Maintain respiratory equipment and supplies
Additional Responsibilities :
- Evaluate patients for routine and advanced respiratory care in various hospital units
- Participate in patient transport teams
- Assist with blood gas analysis and cleaning of respiratory care equipment
- Stock respiratory care supplies on inpatient units
