About The Position
Job Title : Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Job Specialty : Acute Care Hospital Rehabilitation Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 - 16 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required License : MN license required Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) required Must-Have : - Traveler's primary residence must be at least 25 miles away from the facility Job Description : Provide occupational therapy services in an acute care setting- Work with medical, surgical, orthopedic, neurological, neurosurgical, cardiac, and critical care patients- Focus on an Acute Rehab Facility where the average length of stay is 2 weeks- High percentage of patients with strokes- Willingness to work every 4th weekend- Complete required fingerprinting in Minnesota prior to start- Adhere to medical and religious exemption requirements for vaccinations- Must be vaccinated against COVID-19, unless exempt- Participate in a 14-hour orientation sessionNote : Flu vaccine requirements are unknown.
