Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in San Diego, California.

Job Description & Requirements

• DON’T SUBMIT IF TRAVELER DOES NOT HAVE PEDS EXPERIENCE. Okay to submit if not within a dedicated Childrens facility. No Thanksgiving or Christmas RTO allowed.

Must work 2 out of 3 holidays. Required :

• CA license
• 2 full years of recent independent PICU experience (PICU experience must be within the last year)
• Willing to float between units (CVPICU & NICU)
• PALS
• Experience in : Ventilators, multiple monitors, specifically CVP and EKG. Traveler must be willing to get flu shot when requested Shift : 3x12 variable - must be flexible to work days or nights Ratio : 1 : 1-2 Unit Summary : High acuity unit seeing injury, respiratory failure, shock, multi system failure, poisonings, near drowning, meningitis, post op cardiac surgical care, neurosurgery.
