- Average # of cases per day : 2-3 per week.- Required Certifications : BLS- Common Cases : CABG, TAVR, Valves, Impella, IABP.
- Experience : One year CVOR experience. MUST have experience in with Ortho / Neuro / vascular in main OR as well. Could be called in for main or if there is a long case and help is needed.
- Scrubbing required - RN's : Yes for CV and Main OR.- Charge Nurse : Yes, charge nurse.- OR techs : Yes- EMR : Epic- Shifts & Scheduling : 0630-330p, 0630-500, potential for 12 hour shifts- need to discuss with management.
- Weeknight / Call Requirements : Could be on call most nights during the week. It is rare to be called in. - Weekend / Call Requirements : Every 3rd or 5th weekend.
- Holiday / Call Requirements : If the need is there, they are expected to help cover. - What is call response time : 30 Minutes.
Must be within 30 minutes while on call- no exception.- Floating to main OR if there aren't any cases in CVOR. - Scrub Color : Scrubs provided.
Unit / Department specific orientation : 1-2 shifts on the unit. *Radius Rule : Any clinician with a permanent address within 50 miles of the facility will be offered a rate of $7.
00 less than the base rate of their position. *Date Entered : 12 / 13 / 2023 Cancellation may cancel 1 shift per 8 week contract without penalty and up to 2 shifts per 13 week contract without penalty.
