We are looking for a few select Technician Assistants / Kennel Workers who love animals, are compassionate and caring, and would like to join a veterinary team dedicated to making Animal ONE® the most desired veterinary employer and provider in the United States!
Animal ONE® just opened its first small animal veterinary hospital in Northern California. We have designed a beautiful modern facility, purchased top-of-the-line equipment, and gone the extra mile to create a practice group and hospital that will help staff provide the best possible medical care to their patients and love where they work.
Our hospital operates during the day (no nights or Sundays) and does not offer boarding.

What you will be doing :
Maintaining the general cleanliness and neatness of the hospital
Preparing and cleaning Casco WELLKennels,
Assisting Veterinary Assistants, RVTs, and other staff by carefully restraining patients for imaging, blood draws, and other procedures (knowledge of Fear Free a plus!) and assisting with general patient care.
Taking patients to the outdoor canine relief station
Stocking supplies, cleaning instruments, processing laundry, monitoring and stocking client refreshments
Requirements
You are a great fit if you have the following requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
At least one (1) year of experience in animal / pet care (Required)
A love for animals, patience, and the desire to be part of a team dedicated to pet wellness and delivering the highest quality patient care using play and affection.
Attention to detail; a knack for being observant, responsive, and pro-active.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, compassionately assist pet parents who are under duress, and create a positive environment for patients, pet parents, and staff.
Ability to move approximately 40 lbs. and reach overhead shelves frequently to stock pet food, towels, and other supplies, perform laundry duties, and clean the hospital.
Emotional intelligence, a track record of reliability.
