Description : *Infrastructure Automation EngineerDuration : 6 months with option to extendType : Contract to perm potentialIT Pillar : Infrastructure Automation and Orchestration JD : We are looking for an experienced infrastructure engineer that will help our team establish DevOps practices.
You will work closely with the firm’s technical leaders to identify and establish infrastructure automation, orchestration, and infrastructure as code practices in the firm.
You will establish configuration management, automate infrastructure, and implement continuous integration to create continuously deployable systems.
You will help us build scalable, efficient cloud infrastructure. You will implement monitoring for automated system health checks.
Lastly, you will build our CI / CD pipelines.This is an excellent opportunity to begin working in a newly emerging practice in our firms technology department. Responsibilities
- Manage / Improve CI / CD tooling.
- Implement, improve, and maintain monitoring and alerting.
- Build and maintain highly available systems.
- Implement CI / CD pipelines.
- Implement and maintain monitoring stacks.
- Build and maintain highly available production systems.
- Provide direct and responsive support for urgent support needs.
- Translate loosely defined requirements into solutions.
- Use coding languages or scripting methodologies to solve a problem with a custom solution.
- Collaborates with others on the project to brainstorm about the best way to tackle a complex technological infrastructure, security, or development problem.
- Performs incremental testing actions on code, processes, and deployments to identify ways to streamline execution and minimize errors encountered. Skills

- Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies
- Significant experience with Windows and Linux operating system environments.
- Configuration Management experience such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar.
- Managing production infrastructure with Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, etc.
- Working knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure
- In-depth knowledge of networking technologies and networking principles.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.
- Familiarity with container orchestration services, such as Kubernetes, is a plus.
- Familiarity with software development languages such as C / C++, Java, JavaScript, C#
- Experience administering and deploying development CI / CD tools such as Git, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
