Responsibilities and Duties
Experience as an RN and / or Family or Occupational Nurse Practitioner
- Must be able to use visual acuity and hearing as an essential function of this job
- Must be able to use manual dexterity to perform medical examinations and procedures
- Daily tasks include but are not limited to performing physical examinations
- Must be able to perform medical evaluations and provide treatment to injured workers
- Must have the ability to manage and review patient charts
- Must be able to examine, diagnose and treat primary care issues
Imperative that confidentiality be upheld in compliance with HIPAA
Willing to oversee and facilitate in a wide variety of special projects and special reports as assigned.
Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, and work procedures of Employer as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills
Minimum Qualifications :
Required - Master of Science in Nursing
Required - Licensed as a NP in the State of Texas, Texas Board of Prescriptive Authority, Malpractice Insurance, CDL Providers Certification (National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners)
General experience 3-5 years preferred but not required
Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding HIPAA laws
Effective oral and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient computer skills including both hardware management and software familiarity, including Microsoft Office and Project Suites Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Must be able to pass pre-employmentt drug screen along with pre-employment extensive background screening.
Must have valid driver’s license to meet minimum qualifications.
Physical Requirements :
Positions requires physical activities but are not limited to climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, finger use, grasping, and hearing, and seeing.
Must be able to exert up to fifty (75) pounds, in the amount of force needed to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 75 pounds.
Ability to stoop, bend, and climb stairs and ladders as required to perform assigned job function.
Ability to view a computer screen for long periods.
Manual dexterity for operating computer and other office equipment.
