Registered Dental Hygienist

Our growing cosmetic dental practice is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Smile Care Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis.

As a Smile Care Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, focusing on both oral health and cosmetic enhancements.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy with an emphasis on maintaining oral health.

Educate patients on preventative oral care, with a focus on cosmetic treatments such as whitening, veneers, and smile makeovers.

Assist the dentist in assessing patients for cosmetic procedures by providing input during consultations and discussing hygiene impacts on smile aesthetics.

Take and develop dental x-rays as needed.

Ensure patient comfort and satisfaction during appointments by creating a welcoming, spa-like environment.

Document patient care, treatment plans, and hygiene recommendations in dental software.

Provide post-treatment care instructions, particularly for patients receiving cosmetic procedures.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.

Qualifications :

Active Tennessee Dental Hygiene License required.

Minimum of 2 years of dental hygiene experience preferred (cosmetic dentistry experience a plus).

Excellent communication skills with a strong patient-care mindset.

Ability to educate and inspire patients toward improved oral health and cosmetic enhancements.

Proficiency in dental software systems.

Team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule :

This is a part-time position, requiring availability 1 to 2 days per week (with flexibility for additional hours during peak cosmetic treatment periods).
