Business Analyst
Hybrid : Livonia, MI
6-month Contract with possibility to go Full time (40 hrs / week)
$90,000 + (D.O.E.)
Our client, a well-established insurance company, is searching for a Business Analyst to support project goals. The Business Analyst will collaborate in an agile development environment to gather, document, prioritize, and test requirements, improving technological solutions.
They will use web application tools to address technology-related challenges. The ideal candidate will have experience with persona-based scenarios.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
- 4 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- 3 - 5 years of experience in Agile project methodologies preferred
- Familiarity with SQL and understanding of data flow diagrams
- Experience with Web concepts such as HTML and CSS
Responsibilities
- Assist team members (QA team, development teams, and vendors) to provide acceptance criteria for business objectives
- Utilize persona development and create persona-based scenarios to bring focus and direction to the creation of story cards and other project artifacts.
- Identify non-functional needs such as usability, performance, security, portability and service levels
- Document requirements in story cards and organize story cards in backlog
