Project Technician Intern
Piedmont Service Group is a leading Energy and HVAC Services Company in the Carolinas and Virginia. Piedmont Service Group is a privately held company focused exclusively on using cutting edge technology to safely and efficiently operate and maintain buildings for commercial, industrial, institutional, and government organizations.
We are currently looking for a Project Technician Intern to join our Team in Greensboro, NC.
Job Summary : A Project Technician Intern is responsible for assisting the HVAC Mechanic in installation of equipment, ductwork, and associated dampers for a complete working HVAC system.
Pay Range : $16.00-$25.00 Per Hour
Benefits Include :Project Technician Intern is responsible for, but not limited to the following roles and responsibilities :
- Assisting with the installation of HVAC systems on commercial and industrial properties.
- Operating a variety of hand and power tools needed for HVAC installation.
- Following instructions for quality installation of HVAC equipment and associated ductwork.
- Complies with company and industry safety standards.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities :
- Ability to use power and hand tools.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent mechanical skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment
Physical Requirements :
- Physically able to work on HVAC units and systems.
- Will be required to work in settings with extreme heat or extreme cold, depending on time of year.
- Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling. crawling or climbing ladders.
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds at a time.
