Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Unit Capacity : 36 Beds
- Population Served : Cardiac and Neuro Stepdown
- Cardiac bedside monitoring, Cardiac drips, TR bands, Post heart caths, Stroke / Neuro patients, BIPAP overflows
- Ages of Patients Served : Young Adult through Late Adult (18 - 60+)
- Nurse to Patient Ratios : 1 : 6
QUALIFICATIONS
- BLS and ACLS
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- The ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong technical skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Passionate about patient care
- Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Cardiac Telemetry experience.
- Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
- Active unencumbered RN Tennessee state license
- One year of Epic experience
